PERSPECTIVES

MY SISTER'S RELATIONSHIP WITH MUSIC I interviewed my little sister about her relationship with music and I was blown away by the passion she has for music. What she listens to depends on what mood she is in. When she is happy and wants to dance, she listens to Afro beats because it makes her feel in touch with her body and her mind while promoting African music. When she is low and just wants to unwind and draw closer to God, she listens to gospel music. She says gospel music has taught her that there is a higher power who is always ready to listen to her worries, her life has been a testimony since she started listening to gospel music. Her favorite Afro beats singer is ‘David Adeleke’ also known by his stage name  as ‘Davido’, whilst her favorite gospel singer is Don Moen. In her words “ Music is the connection between my physical life and my spiritual life”.
